Verdict

NIGHT LILY goes well on an idiosyncratic track as evinced by a fine effort when second to the rejuvenated Albaqaa at Glorious Goodwood at the weekend. All turf wins have come left-handed and the mare makes plenty of appeal if over the weekend's exertions. The Burke yard is in excellent nick at present and Bold Marc is showing no signs of diminishing powers at the age of nine, having already posted three successes this term. He should go well, likewise the improved Dazeen, although the latter has climbed to a telling handicap mark. Catalyze still appeals as the sort to progress and should enjoy this better ground more than the soft conditions he encountered latest. Rondeau and First Cat merit respect in a wide-open affair.
