    Danakim Inconsistent this season,but won at Ripon in July. Due a good run.

    First Venture Won over sprint at Lingfield In June and knows his way around this course. Outside chance.

    Woodlands Has not done very well at Brighton in the past, but an encouraging win at Bath this season. Outside chance.

    Jawhari Good 2nd to Milton Bradley's Present'N'Correct last week at Brighton. Fancied to go one better.

    Russian Fox (IRE) Hung left when third at Brighton in July. Generally inconsistent.

    Bosra Badger Poor form this season. Not expected to show in this company.

    Chairman Bobby Inconsistent performer. Best watched.

    Kissing Time Raced well to come third at Folkestone last month, and seemed to emjoy drop in trip. Should improve further.

    Ellendune Girl Has come second over this distance at Brighton this season, but disappointing since.

    Montev Lady Usually poor performer. Best left alone.

    Peggy's Song Poor form last season, but only run once this season. Best observed.

    Pleasure Dome First time over five furlongs, but has struggled in the past.

    Regal Air (IRE) Has struggled over five furlongs in the past, but gained a useful second at Nottingham last month. Outside cfhances in this field.
