        Verdict

        The top two are the only course and distance winners in the line-up. PERFECT PASTIME is back on the same mark as when successful in a Class 5 handicap here in May and could be the answer as Strictly Carter is 4lb higher than his victory in a Class 6 in June and is held by Hurricane Alert on earlier Yarmouth form. The veteran Time Medicean hasn't been in the best of form and was beaten in a similar race here last month but the maiden Lady Morel found soft conditions against her here a couple of weeks ago after a much better effort on quick ground, though this will be her first start over a trip this short. Rebel Heart won at Chepstow as a juvenile but has been inconsistent this season.
