Piquet, Sunset Mirage and Sienna Sunset look the main protagonists in this tight handicap but the confident vote goes to Piquet. The selection won well last time out when beating Semelle de Vent and although he is rising in the weights he has won off a higher mark than this before and with conditions again in his favour he is taken to win again. Sunset Mirage rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Ellovamul last time but he looked as if he would benefit from a longer trip last time and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Sienna Sunset was a fair second in a fillies handicap behind Donastrela l;ast time out, that form has since been franked so she has definite place claims. Of the remainder Optimal and Magic Verse are both from very shrewd yards and are worth noting in the market but on the balance of their form they need to improve and for the winner we return to Piquet.
