Verdict

Only six take to the field for this maiden and ALBAASHA looks more than capable of taking the honours; at the main expense of Dice and Sixties Swinger. Sir Michael Stoute has his string in good heart and although the selection;s last effort in a Kempton handicap was disappointing, his earlier second at Doncaster would be good enough here. Dice was second to a hot-pot on his reappearance at Folkestone but has cut little ice in two subsequent starts. Sixties Swinger is another who is not delivering on earlier promise but did finish second in a maiden here last time. He is clearly in good heart but Albaasha is given a final chance in a weak heat.
