Verdict

FIRESTARTER is worth one more chance given today's decidedly modest opposition. He's not been beaten far over 7f at both Ascot and Newbury on his last two starts and this looks his easiest opportunity so far. Voodoo Rhythm and Siouxperhero are also making hard work of registering that elusive first win and one of the less exposed types could prove a bigger threat. Expert Fighter was unfancied for his debut and ran accordingly but he should finish closer here, as should Newmarket sixth Renegotiate and Mick Channon's gelding Spanish Fork.
