Verdict

Liberty Royal, Juste Pour L'Amour and Smoothly Does It are three against the field in a wide open finale and the tentative vote goes to Liberty Royal. The selection is from a yard in form and a reproduction of his latest third behind Mister Clinton would make him hard to beat especially as he is running off the same mark here. Juste Pour L'Amour rates the main danger as he has dropped to such an attractive mark but his best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason he is overlooked on this occasion. Smoothly Does It was a fair fourth behind Lord Chamberlain last time and is another place claims but he rarely wins. Of the remainder Adalar and Cargo are both in form and could run well at a price but they are both creeping up the weights and for the winner we return to Liberty Royal.
