Viking Rose went close at Yarmouth last week but looks a little one-paced. Border Abby only beat one home when favourite at Newcastle earlier this month, while No Larking has been found wanting in this grade in the past and his stable is going through a bit of a lean spell at present. Folly Drove and Cornish Quest were both placed last time, however, and can't be ignored, and Tagansky's recent C&D third signalled a return to form. But we just prefer ADELINA PATTI, who ran her best race so far when runner-up to Ocean Countess here 12 days ago. If she settles a little better today, she can reverse Folkestone running last month with No Larking and open her account.
