In depth

Verdict

Sea Fever is not the most consistent but here was cut in the ground when he scored at Leicester last month and he could well bounce back from his poor recent effort at Haydock. Bayan drops back in distance having gone close when a losing favourite at Ripon on his latest start and Hawaana makes more appeal than Brigadoon and South Cape on last week's second at Epsom. SHEIKHZAYEDROAD won his maiden at Hamilton and wasn't disgraced when fourth on his handicap bow at Newmarket last month. This is a much easier task and David Simcock's charge gets the vote with further progress on the cards.
