Verdict

Al Bandar was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up at Chester but was just denied at Lingfield earlier and would go close with a similar effort. Diamond Runner didn't look the most straightforward when narrowly beaten over a mile here last time but the shorter trip will suit and Cosmic Ray should do better with a recent debut on the Polytrack under his belt. But HAARIB ran out of steam over a mile on the Turf at Lingfield on his introduction and Ed Walker's colt gets a speculative vote to come good in this.
