In depth

Verdict

Rose of Petra gets the confident vote in this maiden with Hazzard County and Folio rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Milestan last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and she need only run up to that form to win this with a little in hand. Hazzard Country rates the main danger on her latest third behind Artimino but the drop in trip does not look to be in her favour and with this in mind she looks worth taking on. Folio is another that could go well but she appears to have regressed of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Little Miss Tara was a far second behind Elusive Flash last time and is another with place claims but the suspicion is she will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time and with this in mind for the winner we return to Rose Of Petra who sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
