Verdict

The Jean Genie took 14 attempts to open her account though did so by over four lengths at Lingfield and has been raised 7lb. Last year’s runner-up Stormingin recorded his only success so far in maiden company back in 2016 while bumper winner Grapevine last scored on the Flat in the same year. But ROY ROCKET is a prolific course winner now back on a winning mark with a pipe-opener at Kempton under his belt and it’s John Berry’s grey that gets the vote having won the inaugural running of this in 2017.
