Verdict

A particularly poor event that will take little winning and Easy Rider is the suggestion to small stakes ahead of Mount Royale and Jade Star who rate as the only serious dangers. The selection remains a maiden but has shown enough ability to be placed in sprint maidens including on this track to suggest that he can lift a race of this nature with race conditions to suit. Mount Royale has at least shown winning form and looks the main danger on his third in an amateurs handicap at Yarmouth in May but is thoroughly exposed and looks vulnerable to the selection on these terms. Jade Star has claims on her second in a similar event at Southwell in May but may find this an insufficient test of stamina while she has a little to find with Easy Rider at the weights.
