Verdict

BROWN PETE has been threatening a return to winning ways with a couple of recent placed efforts, including a second over track and trip last time. He can go one better dropping down a grade today. Do More Business has something to prove over the distance but had Jonnie Skull behind when third over 7f last week while Northern Spy has the past form to figure if back to his best. Vertibes has gone backwards since third on his debut in December and wears blinkers for the first time here as a consequence.
