Verdict

CRAICATTACK is the form pick to break his maiden tag and land this opener at the expense of Flashy Lover and Farmers Wish. The selection improved from his debut when catching the eye at Thirsk last time out. He was well supported in the market that day and if he can reproduce that same level of form he will prove difficult to beat. Flashy Lover has run two fine races in defeat this season. She showed improved form from her debut when finishing a close sixth of twelve at Salisbury in what looked like a better race than this and is sure to be in the shake come the business end of the race. Farmers Wish ran well at Salisbury on her debut. Trained by John Spearing who has a good record with his two year olds and if showing improved form she is another that is sure to go close. This looks a trappy little maiden in which Craicattack gets preference.
