    Verdict

Shamshon has failed to figure since winning over track and trip in April while A Sure Welcome was winning for the first time on Turf when scoring at Chepstow last time and is 5lb higher. He finished ahead of Crystal Deauville on that occasion and the latter has since placed over 7f here while All Back To Mine won on fast going at Goodwood before struggling in soft ground at the same track. ARCHIMEDES landed a double at Newcastle early in the year but was successful over today’s trip at Bath last summer and after placing on his latest start, David Griffiths’ charge looks set for a return to winning ways.
