April Fool has won twice on the all-weather this year but although he's scored five times on turf previously, today's going could prove a problem and RIGOLLETO is preferred. The latter finished runner-up at Sandown the last time he encountered soft ground and a repeat of that form off a 5lb lower mark today would be good enough to land this. Flameoftheforest is another who will handle the underfoot conditions, though he's 6lb higher than October's win at Newcastle for today's reappearance, while Midnight Feast will need to improve on his comeback if he's to get involved.
