Quite a number displayed improved form last time after quiet periods or breaks, including HARRISON STICKLE. John Gallagher's gelding had been absent for 236 days prior to going very close on his return to action over this trip at Salisbury and was arguably unfortunate not to have landed the spoils after a tardy stalls exit. He is on a decent mark on the best of his form and hopefully will leave the stalls more quickly here. Nifty Niece represents a yard with a good record here and came back to form at Catterick last month so looks dangerous on that evidence. Course and distance winner Strictly Carter is inconsistent but commands respect at his best,with Krazy Paving and Asheena also of interest.
