Verdict

ATHAAKEEL is the only member of the entire field to have tasted success in the last six outings and the Ron Harris charge can supplement recent course and distance gains under Cathy Gannon, who was on board for that success. Interakt's only career success arrived at this venue and she ran very well here last time. The drop in trip is a possible concern but it may well suit and she rates a clear threat to the penalised selection. The consistent Talamahana and Dancing Welcome have both shown more than enough this year to warrant short-list inclusion.
