Verdict

HAIL BOLD CHIEF gets the vote to land this seller ahead of Urban Clubber and Bell's Ocean. Alan Swinbanks charge drops in grade for the first time having performed well in a few handicaps. He was not discredited after finishing second at Hamilton last time out and if on song he is sure to be in the shake up. Urban Clubber is another to try his hand against sellers having shown only a limited amount of ability in maiden and handicaps this season. Again this will be his easiest task to date and for that reason he warrants respect. Bell's Ocean has become frustrating to say the least. Her connections must have held high hopes for her after she broke her maiden tag at Newmarket last May, however since then her form as fallen by the way side. She was well beaten in a claimer last time out and should be treated with caution. Hail Bold Chief is more reliable than most and is worth staying on the right side of.
