In depth

Verdict

Extrasolar has won two of his last three starts and is penalised for last week’s success at Catterick while Roys Dream won here in July and is upped a further 4lb for last month’s victory at Leicester. Scenery has been thereabouts in lower grade sprints and Lucky Beggar is usually in the mix at this level but FARD (NAP) has the more scope. The latter was having only his third start in a handicap when placed over course and distance recently and Roger Fell’s charge may prove good enough today racing off the same mark.
