Verdict

BOLD SIR BRIAN won a Grade 2 novice hurdle back in March and showed plenty of promise when runner-up on his chasing bow over these fences. He had a previous winner back in third with today's rivals Our Mick and Willie Hall well behind and Lucinda's Russell's charge will be a short-price to open his account in this company. Kudu Country has won a couple of times over timber and he makes his chasing bow on his first start since February, while Vosges has a more recent run under his belt, but failed to figure on his first attempt at fencing. Red Skipper has plenty to find, as does the returning Gougane.
