Verdict

Quite a few have displayed sufficient ability to land an ordinary northern maiden, which makes for a competitive contest. However, WEETON impressed on debut over course and distance when promoted from third to second in a useful contest for the level and seems sure to improve plenty for the run. It's hard to see him not going close granted normal improvement. Charnock Richard and Onesarnieshort both rated likely improvers the last day with the latter preferred of the pair but Rumshak looks the biggest threat on the back of a promising debut at York behind Tulip Fever. His yard continues in high form. Better is expected from Panophobia as he was sent off market leader when disappointing on debut, since when he's been gelded.
