FREDDIE THE THIRD jumped like a one-legged chicken on his recent chasing debut at Perth but this longer trip may give him more time to measure his fences and we'll give him another chance; Cadoudalas and See You There make it to the shortlist. The selection was backed into favourite last time but that was probably more down to his stables excellent record at Perth. Having another jaunt up North but not as far this time, the selection is sure to appreciate this longer trip and with more to come he looks worth chancing in an open event. Those with more experience include Super Road Train but he has tended to need his first run in the past, and also Sea Cadet who is pretty good on a going day. Cadoudalas strikes as an interesting chase debutant, whilst See You There is a course and distance winner but his performances at the end of last season left plenty to be desired. Jonny's Kick needs a market check, however for the winner we will return to Freddie The Third.
