Verdict

Old-timer Knockara Beau hasn’t won in almost three years and makes his seasonal reappearance. Gevrey Chambertin hasn’t raced since the summer but has the ability to figure in a race like this. Call The Cops, however, is starting to look a tricky customer and Shades Of Midnight needs to recapture the form he showed in the spring. JENNYS DAY is receiving weight all round and can grab a first win since joining the Powys yard of Katy Price having shown improvement when stepped up to 3m last time at Kempton. Very First Time looks to be running into form but has his stamina to prove whereas Sevenballs Of Fire is a proven stayer who will enjoy switching back to hurdles.
