Very little recent form to go on here but HANSOMIS, Bid For Gold and Future Gem are all previous C&D winners. The latter pair may need this but the former was second to Pelmanism here two runs ago and didn't run too badly when sixth, again over C&D, last time - he gets a tentative vote. Real Diamond has shown nothing in two starts this season but is nicely treated on a couple of placed efforts at Catterick last year while Avoncreek went close on the all-weather off this mark in April. Schoolboy Champ can also go close, despite top weight, but the three-year-old Tahitian Princess needs to improve again on her fourth at Ayr if she's to take a hand in the finish.
