In depth

Verdict

Ask Jenny has been running consistently well for Patrick Morris of late and should be thereabouts again but she may once more have to settle for a place at best with preference for ELKHORN, who gets the verdict ahead of Piste. The last mentioned has shown gradual improvement in recent outings and should be involved at the business end of the race racing off the same mark as when a close third last time. Tim Easterby's Interest Free is lightly raced after just four starts and could be of interest on only her second start in a handicap but she does need to improve to trouble the judge. Fleetwoodsands is another lightly raced runner after just three starts and is another to consider first time in a handicap for Ollie Pears. The vote though goes the way of Julie Camacho's Elkhorn, who would not be winning out of turn having been running well in defeat in recent starts and he can gain a deserved success.
