In depth

Verdict

Beg To Differ hasn't been overtaxed by the assessor after his hard-fought victory at Wetherby and he should improve enough to get into the mix. Hartside has run very well on his last two starts from his current mark and it will be a surprise if he's not involved again while the lightly-raced Cathedral should be capable of better. Silver Shuffle is consistent enough while Stylish Chap was taking on better company at Musselburgh after winning there earlier. PISTOL was once regarded as a bright prospect for Philip Hobbs and though he hasn't fulfilled expectations he looked ready to win again soon with a good second at Newcastle and gets the vote.
