Verdict

Troubador is penalised for his victory on fast ground at Redcar but he ran well enough on soft going at Hamilton without looking likely to get to the odds-on Makyon. He has to concede 12lb to the filly SPACE ACE here and Archie Watson's youngster should have improved enough from her narrow defeat at Chelmsford to go one better. Sir Havelock is by the Australian stallion Hallowed Crown and his stable continue in fine form but Rebel Soldier Boy has a speedier pedigree being a half-brother to three 5f winners. Requiems Dream is a very cheaply-bought daughter of Dream Ahead out of a winning sprinter so she should have plenty of pace.
