In depth

Verdict

Barrys Jack is two from two over track and trip but still looks a few pounds too high. PISTOL hasn’t won for a while but is well treated as a result. He, too, has won twice around here and his latest run in a better race hinted at a revival. Cesar Collonges won over course and distance in November but has turned in a shocked subsequently at Exeter. Glingerside has been running a bit better lately and won at Ayr around this time last year while Copper West has been market leader in two of his three runs to date over timber and the Doncaster third will benefit from Noel George’s 7lb claim.
