      Verdict

TURNKEY gets the narrow vote here over Steelcut and Charles Parnell. David Nicholls does well with his sprinters and he can hit the back of the net with Turnkey here. He won in this grade last time at Ayr when he beat Mutamared but the key to his chance today is the ground as he will relish these conditions. He also has a good draw and he can make it count. Steelcut doesn't win very often but he has been in decent form of late and will benefit from this drop in class. He will also handle the cut in the ground so if the selection fails to fire then he should be the one to profit. Charles Parnell would have claims on his best form but his effort last time at Southwell was some way short of what he is capable of and he looks one to treat with caution at present. Ruth Carr continues in good form but the draw is a negative for Sunley Sovereign and we will stick with Turnkey as the one to beat.
