Verdict

The vote here goes to Malmo Boy ahead of Getinbybutonlyjust and, possibly, Union Deux. The selection gets the nod because he is receiving weight from Getinbybutonlyjust. He is also proven at today's trip, is on a fair mark and his young rider takes a further 10 pounds off his back. Getinbybutonlyjust has got things together now and, despite having been raised three pounds for finishing second last time, the form is solid enough and he can go well again. Union Deux has yet to build on his Towcester win, although he will stay, while Glenmoss Rosy is a possible improver form what is not a bad mark, it would seem. Finally, it will be interesting to see if there is money for Terramarique as he takes a big step up in trip, but, overall, Malmo Boy gets the call.
