In depth

Verdict

Bocamix ran an astonishing race behind Carlito Brigante at Haydock in November when a 66/1 chance but ruined his handicap mark in the process. Double Eagle will like the ground but has only been running moderately over hurdles and fences. Degas Art, once one of the brightest prospects in the north, has slowly been returning to form and should have a big say here, but this is MISTER PETE's ideal trip. Conditions are in his favour and the form of his latest run behind Too Cool To Fool has been boosted so he can gain his fourth success over timber.
