In depth

Verdict

It looks significant that Rhys Flint travels up North to take one ride on the card for an outside yard so KNOCKAVEEN rates our pick Alan Swinbank's record with his horses in bumpers is well known so, whilst there is rarely anything given away by the bookmakers, that doesn't prevent them from winning. She was only a cheap purchase and her dam didn't achieve much but Knockaveen is with the right team. Flying Feathers showed promise on debut but failed to build on that next time so has a little to prove now and of more interest is Karingreason who stayed on in a manner at Ffos Las which suggested that this track should suit. As ever, there are a number of newcomers to consider and the market may well be useful in assessing their chances. One name to note is Rowan Road who is a half-sister to some fair performers but the selection is Knockaveen.
