Verdict

COVERHOLDER made giant strides last season after opening his account in a seller. He will have needed his comeback run at Wetherby and can come out on top today ahead of the unexposed Upswing, who won over course and distance on heavy ground on his final start of last season. Smadynium showed nothing on his reappearance at Bangor while Phoenix Returns, One For Harry and Yorkist are all returning from a break and Overpriced has struggled in this grade in the past.
