This is a competitive handicap and we will side with SEA ROVER to get the better of Tangerine Trees and Misplaced Fortune. Mel Brittain's 5-year-old makes plenty of appeal here as he went close last time at Thirsk and he has the pick of the draw this afternoon. He also has trip and ground to suit and he looks primed to take his chance. Tangerine Trees is another that has the benefit of a good draw but Brian Smart is having a quiet spell and this 4-year-old is yet to get his head in front on the turf. Misplaced Fortune is a filly in form as she won well at Nottingham last time when she beat Bateleur. The visor had a positive effect that day and if it works the oracle again this afternoon then she would have to enter calculations. Mey Blossom should be suited by this drop in trip and Amy Ryan is good value for her claim. Dorn Dancer would have claims on the pick of her form but she may need some help from the handicapper before she is able to resume winning ways; her last win came back in June last year.
