The time has come for Acceleration to live up to his name and show some speed in the closing stages. He can land this staying prize from Most Definitely and Needwood Brave. The selection has been knocking on the door with a string of placed efforts in recent times, but like all of his opponents here, he has never been anywhere near this sort of trip. Having said that, he has got home over 1m 6f at Redcar and looks very much the one to be on in a poor contest. Most Definitely travels up from Tim Easterby's in-form Malton yard and has also been as far as 14 furlongs at Redcar. A drop in the weights gives him a chance here and he can give the selection most to do. The only other one that really makes any appeal based on form is Karl Burke-trained Tell Nothing, who was game in defeat last time over two miles and can be involved here, but the vote goes to Acceleration.
