In depth

Verdict

THE LIQUIDATOR should be another winner for the Pipe team if he jumps adequately. He followed up a fourth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham in March by winning a Grade 1 event at Punchestown and looks set to take high rank among this year's novice crop. Knightly Escapade was difficult to place on the Flat but stays well and will have learned plenty from his third at Sedgefield. Spookydooky wasn't disgraced when fifth at Chepstow and is another likely improver but this looks a tall order for May's Hexham winner Damascus Steel under a penalty while Tourtiere may need more time.
