      Verdict

      Golden Town drops 3lb in the weights despite having placed the last twice. He has a decent record here and makes more appeal than stable companion The Steward. Dianne Sayer is also doubly represented with Calliope yet another on today’s card making a quick reappearance after a run here over the weekend. But the choice is FRIGHTENED RABBIT, who holds Golden Town on Hexham form and deserves a change of luck. For Three has had wind surgery since his second at Musselburgh in January and looks best of the rest.
