In depth

Verdict

Pena Dorada won this last year off a higher mark but has been well beaten of late despite finishing in a place. At the other end of the weights PAIR OF JACKS went close in this grade at Hexham when headed in the closing stages. Malcolm Jefferson’s charge is just preferred to Alderbrook Lad, a runner-up over a shorter trip here last time. Scotswell and Rebeccas Choice are closely matched on latest running here and Mia's Anthem is upped 7lb for winning at Aintree while the other recent winners Dreamsoftheatre, Son Of Suzie, Munsaab and Tradewinds are all upped in class but not without a chance.
