Verdict

JUSTATENNER was always travelling well before quickening away nicely to land the spoils here last month on his first start for the Davidson stable. A 7lb rise is acceptable as he is still well below his official rating from the spring of 2017 and the Northern Legend gelding is taken to follow-up over course and distance. Irish raider Celtic Monarch delivered a swooping late run to land a big-priced success at Uttoxeter and cannot be discounted after such an effort, whilst the best of Big Picture's form, notably a convincing Market Rasen success on his penultimate start, puts him in the mix although he was hit hard by the assessor for that Lincolnshire victory.
