Verdict

Pete attempts to repeat last year's win off a 10lb higher mark but may be worth opposing this time. TOP CHIEF won at Kilbeggan last month and, though disappointing last time at Perth, has plenty in his favour here not least the good recent form of his stable. Dipity Doo Dah was second again at Ffos Las on Thursday while Stand Clear and Sendiym would have claims on their best form. Royal Defence has been running on the Flat and could also play a part if a first-time visor has the desired effect.
