Verdict

ROCKYS CHOICE is taken to break his maiden tag over hurdles, while both Spellchecker and Wor Rom are worthy of respect. The selection is the winner of four races on the flat when trained over in Ireland. His hurdle form has improved since joining Tim Vaughan and he has been unlucky to have come across two potentially tidy horses after finishing second in each of his last two races. This looks like his easiest opportunity to date and if at his best he ought to go close. Spellchecker is still only lightly raced and has shown some worthwhile form in the process. He has been freshened up since running below par at Huntingdon back in March and the market could be the best guide to his chances. Wor Rom is likely to have plenty of supporters after improving form his debut to win a bumper at Uttoxeter in June. This is his first run over obstacles so he may benefit for the experience. That said he has proved he can gallop and with a clear round of jumping he will not be far away. Rockys Choice has been knocking on the door of late and it can finally swing wide open for him.
