Verdict

LUCKY BEGGAR ran well again at Thirsk recently having won at Wetherby previously. He’s preferred to Stanghow, who still looks a shade high in the weights after a fourth at Pontefract. Space War was placed at the latter track on his latest start having won twice on the all-weather earlier this year. He can race off the same mark today but Florencio has struggled since winning at Kempton back in February.
