Not a great middle distance handicap to conclude the card and we will side with Fistral to get the better of Mister Fizzbomb. Peter Niven has booked Paul Hanagan for the mount on the four-year-old, who went close over a similar trip on fast ground at Hamilton last time. Preceding that was a Wetherby hurdles win, so he is clearly in good heart and with conditions to suit he can score. Mister Fizzbomb has been on the premises at Beverley of late and has a c&d win to his name. Fast ground suits but he is 9lb higher than his best win and looks in need of a drop to win. Jalamid is interesting now blinkered for the first time after a useful effort last time, but it still has to be a doubt that he'll get home. Toss The Caber has dropped to a dangerously low mark and money for him would be interesting, while Saluscraggie acts well on the tight turns here but will want rain to be seen to best effect. Fistral is the one for us.
