Verdict

KODICAT has shown signs of a resurgence at Ayr recently. Placed on her last couple of outings, Kevin Ryan’s mare looks set to end a long losing run off her current mark. Cardaw Lily also went close at Ayr last week though has yet to win in 24 attempts while stablemate Cosmic Chatter is not badly treated if back to his best. Major Crispies returned to the Turf with a close-up third at Nottingham having tumbled down the weights this year while Viking Way won at the latter track in June and will handle any further softening of the ground.
