In depth

Verdict

Wake Board, who landed a Bangor novice hurdle when trained by Tim Vaughan in 2008, was beaten at very short odds on his next three starts and has joined a new yard since his last run at Ffos Las in August 2009. BROMHEAD landed a handicap at Southwell in January and was only just beaten off a 7lb higher mark a few days later. He has to concede weight all round here but looks capable of doing so. Darayabad is regularly beaten in selling company and Perfectus has been a big disappointment over timber after a debut success in a Worcester bumper. Stablemates Bold Indian and Chadwell Hill were placed but well beaten in a poor Wetherby event last time.
