In depth

Verdict

Hams gets the confident vote in the finale with Elegant Times and Sir Orpen the main dangers. The selection has finished second on both of his outings so far but he has done nothing wrong in either race and he looks to have been found a good opportunity here to get his head in front. Elegant Times finished behind our selection but ran with credit on his seasonal reappearance, but he lacks the scope of our choice. Sir Orpen has got some respectable form but he may be best watched on his first try over this trip, especially as he has been off the track since October. Bolckow is from a yard in form and is another to consider, but for the winner we will stick with Hams.
