Verdict

LAST OF THE BUNCH may be up to the task of conceding weight to Bogside Theatre and Gwyre amongst others. Alan Swinbank's mare showed ability in bumpers and on her hurdling bow where she attracted the attention of the stewards. She duly stepped up on her hurdling bow to win well at Musselburgh and looks capable of defying a penalty in these events. The second home at Musselburgh was trained by George Moore so he should have a fair idea where he stands with Bogside Theatre who went down fighting at Doncaster on Friday and merits respect as that run gives her a leading chance. Gwyre has been nothing if not consistent but she'll need to be a little more than that if she's to open her account as she looks to have something to find with the leading players so place money may be the best that she can hope for. Flora's Pride may find this company and ground more to her liking whilst the newcomers need a market check but Last Of The Bunch appeals most.
