    Verdict

ITALIAN RIVIERA has won eleven of his 44 races including a recent double over the track and trip. He was beaten a length behind Bal De Rio at Newcastle in May but the winner had the benefit of an earlier run and there's a good chance the places can be reversed. Stormin Tom has been running well enough though looks a couple of pounds high while Airton has yet to prove he stays this far. Iolani didn't get the run of the race at Carlisle and should be capable of better while Mark Johnston won this with a three-year-old last season so Kitteleo can't be dismissed despite a moderate effort when stepping up to 1m6f at Sandown.
